Last year a friend of mine on a Z1000SX was fined over 800euro for speeding and banned or a year, he was going 76mph in a 50mph up a mountain pass.

Yesterday I was stopped by the Police for going on a road that was closed for moto's at the weekend. I did not understand the signs but with lots of smiling and expalining that my bike log book was in Welsh as well they let me off...

Hi NTH, yes I was lucky, maybe you need some foriegn plates and papers too. I think if it had been in Spain it would have been different.
There seems to be fewer police and speed cameras in Germany than the UK.

I have just checked my track log and I think it was the L3108 near Hetzbach and the B45

OK, that is more north. Anorher biker unfriendly road......

Hetzbach is approx. 25miles fare away from my home. (Area is called "Odenwald") It`s therefore my home area for short trips
I can imagine you found there some nice streets. Unfortunately some of the best streets are on weekend closed for motor bikers.

See you hopefully end of this week in Kärnten. I`ll arrive at the hotel next Friday noon.

yes, you are right the official start of the meet is on Saturday, but I`ll be one day earlier there.
Another buddy of the forum will also arrive on Friday at the hotel. If you are interested you also can join to us on next Friday.
I`ve to leave the meet on Tuesday (job-related).
The week after the meet I`ll be for 2½ weeks in the south of France for another trip
Unfortunately I`ve sometimes also a little bit work between the vacation trips

Hallo Arjuscha,
bin Freitag unterwegs von hier (Südthüringen) Richtung Süden. Habe erst überlegt ähnlich Everyday einen Bogen zu fahren. Wenn ich aber schon Freitag Abend nicht alleine wäre im Gartnerkofel und Samstag schon eine Kleine Gruppe zusammenkommt würde ich auch direkt anreisen so durch den Bayrischen Wald und so...
Nehmt ihr mich dann Samstag mit?
Ich muss eh Montag schon wieder heim, da wäre ein Tag mehr Versyaner-Gesellschaft schon schön!
